Libratone heads into battle with Nordic Break League 2018.

Now our blog is officially launched, we wanted to share with you a short video from a great event, Nordic Break League 2018. One of Scandinavia’s biggest breakdance battles, the event was held in Copenhagen in December, and we were happy to be the headline sponsor.
Held in Copenhagen, Nordic Break League is one of Scandinavia’s biggest breakdance battles. More than 500 local and international dancers participated from Sweden, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Netherlands, Brazil, Chile and of course Denmark. This made the championship event the perfect local partner for Libratone and to showcase our ZIPP 2 Smart speaker.

Who are Nordic Break?
Nordic Break is the perfect local partner for Libratone. The association, that was established in 2016, aims to grow positive communities around breakdance culture and urban culture in Scandinavia. Led by two of Denmark’s most talented breakdancers Emilio Sanchez and Mikael Santana, the group hosts regular dance workshops, classes and events – both locally and internationally. The grand finale
On the day of the championships, the atmosphere was charged and competitive, but also great fun, with much camaraderie between the dancers from all over the world, the youngest of whom was only 10 years old. The grand finale was between The Ruggeds from the Netherlands and From Down Town from France. In a thrilling finale, it was The Ruggeds who were crowned the winners of Nordic Break League 2018.

Besides, the duo breakdance battles, there were also other solo competitions, where the dancers battled it out to be crowned ‘The best headspinner’ or to receive the title of ‘The best flare’ from the judges. All the winning participants throughout the day were rewarded with our ZIPP 2 Smart speaker.
We really enjoyed being a part of Nordic Break League and seeing so many amazing dancers from across the world. We are already looking forward to the 2020 edition.
