Denmark, 31 August 2011 -Libratone, a Copenhagen-based audio
company developing innovative wireless sound solutions, will be
showcasing two new high-end speakers for the home - the Libratone
Live and the Libratone Lounge - at IFA 2011. Both the Libratone
Live and Lounge are driven by Apple's Airplay technology, allowing
audio to flow freely, without wires or a loss of sound quality.

Libratone Live is a versatile and powerful AirPlaysound system
for iPad, iPhone, iPod touch and computers with iTunes. With an
output of up to 150W, five dedicated amplifiers and advanced
digital signal processing capabilities, Libratone Live can
soundtrack your life all without dragging audio cables through the
living room. It's freedom in one box.
Libratone Lounge has been designed for the living room and to be
a perfect match for the television. It combines advanced technology
and Scandinavian design to enhance movie and music experiences and
to blend in and stand out at the same time. The inclusion of
Apple's AirPlay technology allows users to stream music wirelessly
from iOS devices or Mac/PC while five dedicated amplifiers based on
technology normally only seen in far more expensive systems and a
Digital Signal Processing unit fills every corner of the room with
a jaw dropping 360° sound experience from only one speaker.
Both Libratone Live and Lounge include the patented
FullRoom® technology which provides the listener with a
room-filling soundscape. The tweeters and midrange drivers disperse
sound in all directions with the FullRoom technology reflecting it
off the room's walls, providing high quality 360 degree sound. With
FullRoom technology, wherever the listener is in the room, they are
always in the 'sweet spot'. Additionally and contrary to regular
compact systems, the soundscape expands at a distance.
Product enhancement at the fingertips
As a new feature, users can improve the Libratone Live and
Lounge experience through a specially designed "Libratone" app.
This app allows you to enhance and customize the FullRoom
experience. By feeding the app with information on the placement of
the sound system, it automatically adjusts the sound to fit the
room perfectly. As new features and enhanced functionality becomes
available the Libratone sound system can be updated through the app
- wirelessly. The app also works as a remote volume control when
using the AUX connection.
Both products offer a contemporary design with a Scandinavian
heritage, are available in a range of colours and finished in
luxury cashmere wool. Additionally the Libratone Live features a
satin chrome handle for easy portability.
