How do I optimize the sound
experience from my Libratone Live speaker?
As a new feature, you can improve your Libratone Live sound
experience through a specially designed app. The app allows you to
enhance and customize the FullRoom experience by feeding the
app information on the placement of your sound system, whereby it
automatically adjusts the sound to fit your room. Voicing
functionality offers a variety of different voicings to adapt the
sound of your speaker. You can also update your sound system
through the app when new features becomes available from Libratone.
Finally, the app allows you to use your iOS device to control the
volume, when you use the AUX connection.
The free Libratone app is
available through Apple's App Store. Search for "Libratone" in the
App Store search field.
How to add a volume boost to
your Libratone Live speaker
In iTunes on your computer you have the option of boosting the
volume on your Libratone Live speaker by an extra 12 dB.
Here's how:
- Open iTunes on your computer and play some music.
- In the menu bar select "View" followed by "Show
equalizer".
- When the Equalizer window opens tick the "Preamp" setting to
"On"
- Drag the volume slider upwards to a max. of 12 dB (or any volume
setting you please).
- After a second iTunes will use the new setting and your speaker
will turn up the volume by the requested number of dB's.

How do I use the minijack/miniplug
input on my Libratone Live speaker?
In addition to AirPlay your Libratone Live speaker is equipped
with a combined analog/digital minijack/miniplug input connection.
It is located right next to the mains switch of your
speaker, and is covered by a small rubber plug (for dust
protection) when you receive your speaker. Remove the rubber
plug and insert an appropriate minijack/miniplug cable and you're
good to go. Remember: In our world wireless always trumps wires so
when you initiate AirPlay streaming this overrules
the minijack/miniplug connection.Use the Libratone App mentioned
above to control volume on your minijack/miniplug connection.
