1 . If you are having trouble connecting to your iPad2.

If you have an iPad 2 and no sound is coming from your Libratone Beat (after connecting the 30-pin transmitter) then briefly touch the volume slider on your iPad 2 after pressing Play. Music should start pouring from the speaker right away. This trick also applies if you are first-time bonding your 30-pin transmitter using an iPad 2.

2 . If you can't bond your USB transmitter.

Make sure your USB transmitter is selected as your active sound source on your computer. Open your preference/control panel on your computer and find the sound icon. The speaker should be listed as "SKAA USB TX" and selected as the actual sound source. Now you can bond the USB transmitter by pressing the logo button twice. Remember to have your computer playing before you bond.

3 . If your speaker doesn't play when connected via mini-jack.

Try raising the volume on the connected device. If the volume is too low Libratone Beat doesn't detect the mini-jack input.
If you have a wireless source playing Libratone Beat automatically switches to the wireless input and overrules the mini-jack input.

10 . If you wonder if Libratone Beat is rechargeable.

No it's not. It needs to be connected to mains (110 - 230V AC) to play. High quality sound requires a lot of power.
More power than we can get from a battery that fits inside the speaker.
