Libratone Lounge is quite generous when it comes to
connectivity. No matter if you prefer streaming from your computer
or your portable devices, Libratone Lounge will accommodate your
needs. It will AirPlay from most iOS devices, as well as iTunes on
both Mac and PC, and though we're all about wirelessness, you can
also go analogue or digital connecting for instance with your TV
via minijack.
If you please, you can even set up a multi-room system using
multiple Libratone products to fill your entire house with high-end
sound. All you need to do is get yourself a couple of extra
Libratone units, activate them using iTunes and press play.
iPad, iPhone and iPod touch
Libratone employs Apple's AirPlay-technology. This means that
you can stream quality audio wirelessly to your Libratone Lounge.
As long as your audio device is AirPlay compatible, you're good to
go. Simply choose Libratone as your AirPlay-speaker and press
play.
Libratone Lounge AirPlays from all iPads, iPhone 3GS or newer,
iPod touch and Mac/PC.
MULTI ROOM - COMPUTER WITH ITUNES
You can set up a multiroom system by 1) investing in more than
one Libratone product, 2) placing them in different rooms and 3)
activating them via iTunes on your computer. From here, you can
adjust the volume and turn speakers on and off. The units play
simultaneously.
Up to six speakers can play at the same time, depending on your
WiFi signal strength, range and bandwith.
LOUNGE AND TELEVISION - ENTERTAINMENT HUB
Libratone Lounge is designed to create high-end, roomfilling TV
sound. Simply connect with 3.5-mm minijack or optical cable to
squeeze quality audio out of your television set. If you connect
with the optical cable, you use the free Libratone app to control
volume.
Before connecting, just remember: In our world wireless always
trumps wires, so if you use both AirPlay and a cable connection,
Libratone Lounge will automatically choose the AirPlay input.
WIRELESS AUDIO AND VIDEO - WITH AN APPLE TV
You can use Libratone Lounge as an essential part of a larger
audio/video eco-system. With Apple TV you can stream both HD video
and high quality sound to your TV and use Libratone Lounge to set
the audio free. Home entertainment doesn't get any smoother than
this.
WIRED - ANALOG OR OPTICAL
Don't worry, though we prefer wireless, we don't discriminate.
So if you have an iPod Classic, a cell phone or another device
without AirPlay compatibility, you can still hook up the ol'
fashioned way. Just connect with minijack or optical cable to let
the sound run free.
